This tiny antique advertising tin match box/match safe is just 1 ¾” long, 1 ¼” wide and slightly under ½” thick. It has a shiny gold finish with black criss crossing lines and an indentation on the bottom with rough texture to use as a match scratch. The front tab on the hinged cover is marked “BRYANT & MAYS PATENT LONDON” and the top of the cover advertises “Smoke our Choice Brands. FLOR GARCIA. AMERICAN GENTLEMEN. PEG TOP. WHITE STAR. ---FITZPATRICK & DRAPER TROY, N.Y.” The finish has a little wear on the front tab. No dents, cracks or corrosion.
