BREITLING TOP-TIME GENTLEMAN'S CHRONOGRAPH This is a very fine example of one of the most elegant and understated luxury wristwatches of the 1960s One-piece stainless steel body, waterproof, shockproof and anti-magnetic. The condition of the dial is very good indeed, with only the slightest deterioration of the outer white/silver tachymetre scale (virtually unavoidable on this type of watch). The case is sound, clean and bright, without damage and with the manufacturer's engraved script still crisp and legible on the watch-back. The winder crown is signed with the Breitling "B" emblem, matching that on the watch's face, as is the strap buckle. The watch has just been completely overhauled by an authorised Breitling service and repair agent. This is a 3 - 5 hour operation which involves the complete dismantling of the mechanism, cleaning, replacement of worn out components, re-assembly, lubrication and adjustment plus the refurbishment of the case and the replacement of all gaskets. The watch is currently guaranteed against malfunction for 24 months, as from last week.
