Auctioning with No Reserve, this gorgeous antique vintage Arts & Crafts art pottery vase - this came out from an old antique estate attic in Upstate New York - we wanted to state that we do not specialize in antique or vintage art pottery but we believe that this is a very old vase because everything in this attic is old and antique and we wanted to try to get this vase some attention from the experts out t - this is a very high quality art pottery vase though we are not familiar with the markings on the bottom - it has a superb thick rich glaze that we tried to photograph clearly for you and the clay itself on the bottom almost resembles a redware but moreso of an earth toned muddy brown color clay - we would not call it redware pottery but more of a mocha brown colored pottery - the blue glaze is fantastic and brilliant - hopefully some of the experts will be familiar with the maker, the style and the fantastic glaze - it is certainly all hand thrown and has a fantastic shape to the body - in excellent condition with absolutely no damage anyw - in our opinion it is easily as high quality as any Roseville - Van Briggle - Teco - Marblehead or any of the highest quality potters that we have encountered and who knows, maybe it was made by one of these makers ??? We truly believe that it is very old and it is just exquisite - please view all of the photos below and you may just be looking at a very rare and valueable piece of art pottery - this breathtaking vase will surely catch eyes in any Mission Arts & Crafts setting or in any gallery or home - drop-dead beautiful!
