This lot c onsists of two ( 2) Boyd Pieces - Peridot Satin #20 and Cobalt Blue Satin #21 . The Boyd kittens measure 1 1/2 inches long and 2 3/4 inches high . The trademark is a B inside a diamond with no bar on pieces made between 11-13-78 and 12-14-1983 (1st five years); one bar below indicating it was made between 1-16-1984 and 10-7-1988 (2nd five years); one bar above and one below indicating it was made between 11-22-1988 and 8-9-1993 (3rd five years), and one bar below, above, and right indicating it was made between 10-15-1993 and 8-26-1998 (4th five years). The trademark is on the lower rear of the kitten.My parents were long-time Degenhart and then Boyd dealers. They made many trip to the factory in Cambridge, and received weekly shipments inbetween. They were very good about labeling the colors as soon as they received them. However, they closed the business almost 20 years ago. I am not as familiar with the glassware so I am making my 'best guess' when the tags have been lost. Please feel free to let me know when I am incorrect. Thanks for understanding.Each color is made for only one day and is never repeated. Boyd Glass was made in Cambridge, Ohio USA at the Boyd Glass factory from 1978 to 2013 when they stopped production. Although many of the moulds were sold, the glass will never appear with the Boyd trademark again. read more
