I picked up this Bon Jovi t-shirt during their Slippery When Wet tour that started in July of '86 and lasted 2 years. It was my first and most memorable of the 5 Bon Jovi shows that I saw on that tour. To start, we were totally late because one of our friends forgot her ticket at home so her Dad, who had driven half of us to the Cow Palace in Daly City that day, had to buy her another ticket at the box office. It seemed to take forever, every precious second that ticked away would make it more difficult to get a place to stand close to the stage. When we finally got in, we split our group of six girls into pairs to try to get a better place to stand. My friend and I watched as our group disappeared into the crowd as we decided to stick to more of an open space in front of the soundboard. Long story short, this was the best place we could have been. We didn't know it but this was where Jon Bon Jovi landed after his flight over the crowd, giving us a front row seat for the entirety of the song Silent Night. To make things even better, they were filming footage of the show to include in the video for Wanted Dead or Alive. We didn't realize until a few months later and the video went into heavy rotation on MTV but my friend and I landed in the video.
