** BOLDON COOPERATIVE JUBILEE 1873 - 1923 ** Commemorative Plate

A rare commemorative plate to mark BOLDON / INDUSTRIAL COOPERATIVE / SOCIETY LTD. / JUBILEE SOUVENIR / JUNE 1873 - JUNE 1923 with moulded decoration to the rim and gilt highlighting transfer printed to the centre with shop images of EAST BOLDON BRANCH,HARTON BRANCH,CENTRAL PREMISES,PELAW BRANCH and CHARLES ST.BRANCH. The base is marked with a weak Longton Staffordshire wheatsheaf backstamp. Boldon is on South Tynside between Sunderland,Washington,Gateshead,Jarrow/Hebburn and South Shields. One of a number of collectors items I have listed for auction this week on eBay - wherever possible I always pack multiple purchases (from same day auctions together) to reduce postage costs for buyers. WEIGHT: 400 gms SIZE: 9.75 " (24.75 cms) diameter x 1.25" (3.25 cms) deep. CONDITION: Some longstanding glaze crazing,otherwise good condition with no damage.
