This car is a 1982 E21 BMW 316 A, 2 door saloon fitted with the 1766cc four cylinder engine and auto gearbox. It has been garaged for most of its life and the overall condition reflects this. In this present state the car would suit a future classic car owner as only minimal work would have this car up to show standards. I do not have the time as I already own another BMW classic car that is shown at various classic car events. Over the past 34 years the car has covered 33,500 miles and the service book lists 26 dealer stamps. The car is finished in Saphire Blue metallic paint with good chrome and a factory fitted manual sunroof. The Pacific Blue cloth interior shows virtually as new appearance, due in the main to only having had four owners (3 from the same family), but due to ill health only two of the owners ever drove the car. All four tyres have been replaced and have covered less than 2000 miles since fitting on refurbished wheels. The car has been kept to near original specification.Recent work has included replacing both rear wheel brake cylinders and a light skimming of the front brake discs together with new EBC pads and a hydraulic fluid flush.
