Blue & White Spongeware Pitcher & Bowl Set , 16" dia x 5"h & pitcher 12"h, c. mid 19th century. Baluster shape ewer on round foot. Bowl with rolled rim. Thick & thin blue bands separating all over exterior sponging. Bowl interior with center sponged circle & sponged band at rim. Lite wear. Minor production flaws usual with utilitarian wares.
