You are bidding on "Sweeping Mammy" tin wind-up toy made in the U.S. This toy was made in the 30's. I believe around 1939 by Lindstrom Toys. When wound up she walks forward as she sweeps. The paint is amazing and so is the condition of this toy. It stands 8 inches high. It also comes with the original box. That in itself is a rare find. There is a corner that is bent on the box. Overall it's in amazing condition. I will not be putting the toy in the box when I ship as I do not want to open and close the flaps, possibly tearing it. This would make a great addition to a toy collection. This comes from a 25 year plus personal collection. Over the next year I will be selling off the ENTIRE collection of 1,000 plus pieces of black Americana. I have every F and F item you can think of, humidors, 20 tin wind-up toys, ashtrays, salt and pepper shakers, everything Aunt Jemima, grease jars, figurines, cookie jars, string holders, spices, toys, advertising tins, postcards, wall clocks, gold dust items and more!!
