Here is a nice old heavy brass or maybe bronze (cannot tell) bird or dove trophy which is excellent and looks to have never been used. The maker's mark from Kentucky is on the bottom. The base is a nice solid piece of marble and the brass bird portion is solid brass. A simple plaque can be engraved for this to be a gift or prize to the bird hunter (or even the bird watcher!) or for any purpose. This trophy weighs 2 and 1/2 pounds unpackaged. The bird's wingspan is over 7 inches and it is 4.25 inches high, and the marble base is 5x3x3/4 inches.This looks to be an uncommon type of trophy and would fit the right occasion.
