You are bidding on one of the early pieces of Bill Campbell pottery, of the Campbell's Studio, in Cambridge Springs, Pa. This piece is now retired. Bill Campbell began his career in the 1970's showing and selling at craft fairs and galleries, growing his studio to the largest art pottery in Pennslvania. This beautiful vase is in excellent condition-no chips, cracks, crazing or any other damages. The vase is signed on the bottom in the typical scrawley handwriting. It is 7 3/4" tall with a 3 1/8 "diameter at the top and 2 3/4" diameter at the bottom. I have shown it at different angles but no camers can really capture the beautiful vibrant colors in the glaze. Now nationally known, Master Potter B ill Campbell has been creating award winning porcelain for over 30 years. Specializing in functional work with elegant forms and richly colored glazes, his pieces coordinate with each other. Each hand-crafted piece is slightly different in glaze and detailing. The classic glaze with purple, blue, green and ivory is highlighted wiht rich browns and tans. Each unglazed base is signed in his typically scrawly, writing. The pottery is lead-free, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. Shipping will be by weight and distance, and ebay will do the calculating.
