When Clément relocated to one of the familyproperties in southern Vallauris, Delphin moved elsewhere in Vallauris, leavingJacques's factory to a second cousin, Jean Baptiste Massier (son of JeromeMassier). There he specialized in polychrome enameled faience destined for homeand garden. During the Art Nouveau years, Delphin mastered the metallic lusterglazing as practiced by Clément. In the firing his vessels often obtained abrilliant iridescence.
