Betsy Ross Enameled Sterling Spoon 1901 This is great souvenir spoon depicting Betsy Ross making the American Flag. In the bowl of the spoon it reads "Birth of the American Flag Philadelphia 1771". The handle has Betsy Ross making the flag, which is enameled with blue and red and white stripes. It is marked Sterling on the back and has a Pat date of 1898 with the back of the bowl is engraved " May 1901". It measures 6" long and has more details on the back of the handle including the house of Betsy Ross. This is a great early souvenir spoon.
