I attend the World War II weekend that is scheduled every June inReading Pennsylvania. It is three days long and I usually attend everyday to acquire relics and autographs as well as see the great events. This show and reenactment has lots of great airplanes, reenactors and famous WWII vets signing autographs. Paul Tibbets or the pilot of the Enola Gay was just in 2006. He did not attend in 2005 and did not return in 2007 due to health reasons I believe. He has tragically passes away. I had him sign multiple autographs and show a picture that I took of him signing a print. My inventory is running low. Some previous bidders have requested that I show him signing to verify that I had him autograph my items personally. I have met him personally over 30 times. I'm offering this great signed Enola Gay ground crew photo signed by him at the 2006 show. I show him signing multiple items for reference and verification. This photo is considered the most complete crew photo showing the greatest number of the ground crew members. This photo was not one offered at the show and I carried it t to be signed. The photo in the National Archive has wrong sides orientation, that means it was made from wrong side of negative. You will see the guys have watches on right hand and t is wrong orientation of B on cap of Bob Caron. The second standing guy is incorrectly labeled in the National Archives as Richard Nelson, this is really tail gunner Bob Caron as labeled in this photo, because he wears cap of his favorite baseball club Brooklyn Dodgers with big B embroidered on front. Feb. 10, 2002. ________________________________________ Hi Mike, We were able to call up the picture of the crew, and the first thing I noticed is that it is printed backwards. We all have our watches on our right wrists. I know that I never wore mine that way and doubt that the rest did. The picture is a bit fuzzy and so is my memory after 56 years. I have identified all the ground crew and most of the flight crew, but some seem to be missing. T are also a few strangers that I don't recognize as either ground or flight crew.
