This is an original Gerz ceramic and pewter lidded beer stein from W. Germany, limited edition. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.It has gorgeous raised wildflowers on it and is called the Wild Flowers Stein.It is large, measuring approximately 6 1/8" tall, 4 3/8" diameter base, 2 1/8" from the edge of the handle to the wall of the stein.On the underside it says handarbeit (handmade), Limited Edition. Gerz, W. Germany, 1986/8, Feldblume, 774/4000.From the certificate:Another limited edition stein with floral motifs is our Wild flowers stein with beautiful bouquets of red clover, forget-me-nots, white ox-eyes, and bell-flowers in high relief on silvergray background.The Wild flowers bouquet is repeated on the ceramic inlay adorning the antique finished pewter lid.Production of this stein will be limited to 4,000 pieces.
