Up for auction is a vintage signed B.B. Craig (Burlon) Vale, N.C. Catawba Valley pottery two handled storage jar with awesome blue-gray alkaline glaze inside and out. It is in excellent condition with No chips, cracks, nicks, repair or hairlines. The lid has two potter firing cracks on the under side, but they were done in the making and do not hurt or detract. The storage jar measures approx. 9 3/4" tall with lid, 8 1/2" without by 6" long from handle to handle and 5" wide across the top rim and base. The very bottom is signed; B.B. CRAIG * VALE, N.C.
