Original 3.75x5.75x2.75" illustrated die-cut display base w/clear plastic cover contains 5" long plastic boat w/2" long scuba diver figures attached to back w/cord. When this figure is pulled, interior motor is wound, making propeller spin. Boat also features dual adjustable rudders and is designed for use in water. Made by Eidai of Japan as part of their 1970s Grip Boat series. Back of display shows boat w/lifeboat attachment, this is version not shown w/scuba diver. Design based on Corgi version. Plastic case shows lt. scattered wear w/some scuffs and some tape residue, but base and toy are NM, old store stock and toy has never been removed from box but old tape has dried and is no longer present so lid lifts off. Rare.
