You are viewing the front page of a broadside baptismal gift used in a church (unnamed) in Reading, Pennsylvania. This was a gift with inspirational poem that most likely accompanied some practical article for the baby. The inscription in German at the bottom reads: "your grandmother Anna Wagner, nee Reindl, 1906/Oct. 4" Measurements: 4 1/2 by 7 inches. This is probably a Lutheran piece, since the Pilger Press in Reading both imported and reprinted baptismal items of this nature. Printed on pale pink paper with gray ink (hence faded look to angel, etc). Old folds, otherwise on good condition.
