BABE RUTH Lou Gehrig Photo Print with 2 Baseball Stamps framed Rare Piece The twogreatest Yankees of all time... Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig .... TOGETHER! This historic print is joined with two uncancelled US postagestamps. In 1983, the USPS honored Babe Ruth with his ownstamp. Ironically, his stamp was issued from Chicago the site of the 50thanniversary of the All Star Game played in Comiskey Park. (The 1st All Star Game was also played at Comiskey in 1933...Babe Ruth playingfor the American League. LouGehrig's stamp was issued in 1989 out of Cooperstown, Home of the Baseball Hall ofFame. The Yankee Stadium stampwas issued in 2001 as a part of the series - '10 Classic Ballparks.'
