AutoArt has taken this idea and adapted it conceptually into a table lamp. Real carbon fiber rods and aluminum linkages are used to form the multi-link suspension movement. A damper is fitted at the base to control the height of the arm by rotating the adjustable spring plate. The base is made of die-cast metal wrapped with rubberized banding to simulate a low-profile racing slick tire. The halogen light cover is made of lost-wax casting aluminum attached to a stainless steel rod with a universal joint for light source adjustment.
