Authentic Native American Arrowhead Artifact from the Collection of Lottie Shipley, Owner of the World Famous Rock Shop, Shipley's Mineral House, Gem Village, Colorado. This 1 3/4" Indian made arrowhead is in good original condition. This is an authentic Native American artifact that I have owned for about 35 years. It came from Lottie Shipley's personal collection of rocks, minerals and interesting things that I purchased from her after she had closed down her shop in Gem Village. This arrowhead measures 1 3/4" high & 3/4" at its widest. It measures 9mm. at its thickest. I will not attempt to identify the type or the location where it was found as Lottie was an enthusiastic rockhound who traveled a lot. Please look at the photos closely to get a good look before bidding. Lottie Shipley (1906-1998) was the owner of Shipley's Mineral House in Gem Village, Colorado. Born in Oklahoma, Lottie & her first husband moved to Dolores, Colorado by 1930, where she became interested in minerals & Indian artifacts. During World War ll she worked as a prospector for the US government searching for deposits of strategic metals. After exhibiting at the 2nd annual Gem Village Rock Show in 1946, she divorced her first husband & married Elias Eugene Shipley who owned Shipley's Mineral House in Gem Village.
