Dave drew many kits that were then sculpted into patterns. This pattern, was sculpted by Ray Meyers. Unfortunately this is as far as Aurora took The monsterThe pattern would have then been used to make injection molds. Then finally to make styrene plastic kits.The sculpted pattern was either at HMS Associates in Pennsylvania or Aurora West Hempstead?In 2013 someone got a hold of Aurora patternsIt was also going to be a snap-together kit if Aurora produced it.In 2018 someone took the resin kit to make styrene plastic kits.Over 40 years later this kit is now available in styrene plastic.
