Horolovar ® Temperature Compensating Springs are made from Ni-Span-C ® and are available in 23 different strengths. This 3-Pack contains three Springs .0023”(.058mm) thick, each 5-3/8"(136.5mm) long. (for just one single spring or other thicknesses, please check out my other items ) These springs are the correct thickness to regulate Kundo miniature 52-53-54-55-56-73-76 movements (all Kundo clocks that are approximately 9" tall), as well as Kern midget 58 , Kern miniature 61 , Nisshindo Master 75 and Henn miniature 52-53 movements, among others. These springs will also regulate Schatz miniature 53 movements (Schatz clocks with the number '53' in a circle on the back plate), except those that have a pendulum with 4 truncated cones. For these clocks, .0024" springs are required. (Kundo is also known as Kieninger & Obergfell or K & O ). * * * When a 400-Day Clock is equipped with a Horolovar ® suspension spring, temperature variation will not change the rate of the pendulum cycle. So once regulated, the clock will keep excellent time. Horolovar ® springs have very tensile strength, high fatigue strength and freedom from brittleness.
