The tile is about 6 5/8” x 5 3/8” and 5/8” thick. The Arts and Crafts design is called “Tulip and Cross Trinity.” Moravian tiles were produced by Henry Chapman Mercer at the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, Bucks County, PA from 1898 to his death in 1930. They have been reissued using the original molds up to the present time. Traces of mortar on the back show that it was mounted to a surface and the patina on the tile edge shows that this was for some time. It is in good overall condition. There is a small flake on one corner and craqueleur to the glaze. These surface cracks do not extend into the clay body. There are small marks and scuffs on the surface, and the back lost a thin piece when it was removed. The patina on the tile and the craqueleur surface show age but I do not know if it was made before or after Mr. Mercer’s time.Please look at the photographs as they are considered part of the description.I guarantee it to be as described.Calculated shipping fee is for the lower 48 states using Ebay’s calculator.
