D Schock Art Pottery is my own brand of Arts and Crafts pottery. I am inspired by many parts of the arts and crafts movement. I am especially inspired by the works of Frank Lloyd Wright, and other prairie style artisans. Other Pottery houses such as Teco, Rookwood, Grueby and Roseville. All my designs are my own, but you will see these influences come though. Many of the pieces I offer here are prototypes of designs and glazes. Some work and some don't. Every single piece is completely hand built and is one of a kind, marked, and signed upon request. Because these items are one of a kind and hand built they may have some glaze flaws. These should not diminish the value of the piece but many times add to the character. I will note any obvious flaws. I will also sell pieces that have minor damage from firing. Again these cases will be noted. I hope you find my work an appropriate addition to your collection. Please feel free to ask questions during the bidding. This vase is 8" tall and 3" wide. The top of the vase is nearly flawless and has great matte green glaze. The feet of the vase however, had some separation during glaze firing. This is shown in the photos. Each side of the vase has the same circle design.
