THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU VICTORIAN ERA GOLD FILLED LOCKET. INSIDE IT IS MARKED: W & H. CO. INSIDE OF A HEART. IT HAS 14 STONES IN THE CROSS AND HAS LILIES (I BELIEVE) AND IS A FLORAL REPOUSSE LOCKET PENDANT. I SAW ANOTHER LOCKET BY W&H AND IT HAD SAPPHIRES AND IT LOOKS VERY SIMILAR TO THIS ONE, BUT I AM NOT SURE. ON THE BACK OF LOCKET HAS A MONOGRAM THAT LOOKS LIKE: M C. IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL PICTURE FRAMES & PLASTIC INSERTS IN BOTH SIDES . SIZE: 1 1/8" INCH ROUND. NO CHAIN IS INCLUDED. THIS IS A VERY UNIQUE AND LOVELY ANTIQUE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT. The trademark inside this locket, "W & H Co" with a heart etched around it belonged to Wightman & Hough Company who operated out of Providence, Rhode Island. Wightman & Hough Company made sweetheart necklaces from 1856 until 1922. They were primarily renowned for their lockets. You can ! Please see our excellent feedback .
