This is a gorgeous lamp in wonderful condition. Very old much more than 50 years old. This looks great in a living room or bedroom an eye catching piece. The lamp is magnet tested and found to be non magnetic. So the entire lamp is solid bronze & not hollow . A very nice and heavy piece, close to 20lbs. This lamp is a beautiful baby riding a shell boat that is sitting upon a dolphin in the waves. The baby is holding a trident which is an attribute of a mythological being. The other hand holds a beautiful little bird, measuring 1". Surrounding the baby is 7 large 3 1/2" white colored flowers .The base is surrounded by 4 floral wreath. As the picture shows the shell is also very ornately decorated. The babies face and hair is just beautiful. The shade is in great condition scalloped edge, the lamp with the shade measures 36" high and about 14" diameter. This lamp looks great in a Victorian home, a Rococo home, or an eclectic home. The white flowers screw off so these do not break in shipping . Wow what a beautiful Christmas gift this would be. Please bid soon as late bidding will cause you to forget and miss this auction.
