The_Authentic_Arrowhead_StoreARCHAIC DART MISSOURI / ILLINOIS A really nice and well crafted authentic Native American Indian artifact. It is very well patinated. It is no brainer authentic. This ARCHAIC DART came from either Missouri or Illinois and was part of the late Tom Truetken Collection . It is no brainer authentic. It shows nice use and patination. It is made from a classic Burlington material. It has a good base and is quite symmetrical. There is no modern damage. It will make a great addition to any authentic collection. Like all of his personal finds it has his catalouge # on it. It will remove easily if you so choose . Each catalouge # coincides with a site that he was hunting in the book that catalogues his collection. COLLECTION HISTORY Tom Truetken was a digging buddy of mine. I was introduced to Tom by Rick Przygoda, another good friend of mine that I dig with. Tom was an avid artifact collector, fisherman, and golfer. His finds were creek finds, field finds, and some dug material. He hunted exclusively in Missouri and Illinois. He passed away on October 16, 2012 at the age of 53. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Tom collected artifacts most of his adult life and found hundreds and hundreds of pieces. We bought Tom's collection from his family and pictured all of it in our museum website: theauthenticarrowheadstore. read more
