Hi And Welcome to my Auction~~Today I have here a Really Beautiful Applique Dresden Plate Quilt With Swagged Border~`The Workmanship is Superbly Done ~This Quilt is in near Pristine Vintage Condition~No Holes No Fraying of the Binding , No excessive wear to the Fabrics and Beautifully Quilted at approx 10-12 Tiny Stitches to the Inch~Master Quilted ~But it does have a few tiny spots on front that did not come out in it' s Gentle Quilt Bath~~ The pictures are Bad but this Quilt is so much prettier In person~~ This Applique Dresden Plate Quilt would date from approx ~approx 1930's and This is Just A Beautiful Quilt White with Pretty Green and Pink Ditsy Checks Dresden Plates That are hand Appliqued with the tiniest stitching ~ I had to look with a magnifying Glass such tiny needle work Superb ~This Quilt would Cheer up any room and it is as Charming has can be~`The Binding is all scalloped and is what I call 1 930's Quilters Green or a Nile Green Beautifully Hand stitched closed on the backside ~ ~~This Quilt is in Near Pristine Vintage Condition with an exception of a few tiny spots on the Front that should come out with a little spot cleaning they did not come out in the quilt bath and the quilt was dried and I was taking pictures is when I seen them ~~ I gave this Charming Qui lt a Gentle Quilt Bath and It was Dried in our Farm Fresh Country Air~ ~~ This Beautiful Applique Quilt is Quilted with Nice Tiny Even Stitches at approx 10-12 Tiny Stitches Per Inch Top side only ~This is A Nice Summer Weight Quilt with Nice Ultra Thin Batting~The Binding is all hand stitched closed on the back side ~Please Remember this Is Not a New Quilt and Part of the Charm is That it is an approx 80 + year old Folk Art Quilt ~That has given Great Joy and Service for well Over 80 years and it Still has a Lot of Life Left to give another " Quilt Keeper " many Many More years of Joy ~ So if you are Looking for a Perfect Quilt please this is not it this is 80 year American Folk Art Quilt It is not new But it is in Near pristine Condition for it Age ~So In Perspective this Quilt has held up very well for being over 80 years old and it is Stunning And Just as Charming as can be ~~~ If This Quilt is Talking to you Please Listen Carefully because it is looking for a " New Quilt Keeper " to give it a new Home Please~~ ~ This Quilt was Expertly Executed ~And Expertly Quilted ~ The Lucky Winner is going to be Thrilled with this Beautiful Stunning ~ Folk Art Quilt from the approx. 1930's" 20th Century Era ~~With its Gorgeous Spring Colors And Stunning Design ~ This is a Stunning Quilt it is all Hand Quilted with Nice Tiny Stitches approx 10-12 Tiny stitches to the inch ~I had to use a magnifying glass ~ It Measures approx 80 inches by 80 inches ~ ~~This will be a great addition to your Collection this quilt as a lot of Personality ~~And makes an excellent Visual Display Quilt ~All Cotton Fabrics~This Quilt is very useable and is Really Beautiful and a very well executed Quilt In Near Pristine Vintage Condition ~~~~ You Will Love it it is as Charming as can be !!!
