Rare antique stoneware pitcher in the figure of a Victorian Woman. Big skirt, feather in her hat, lots of lace and her hands in a muff. Stands apprx 14" tall x 8". Not sure who the manufacturer was, but reminds me of early German Beer Steins. Marked "26" or "2G" on the bottom. The pitcher itself is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. However the hat is a problem. Looks like there should be a metal hinge holding the hat on so you can open it with one hand. And the hat does have chips and a couple of badly repaired chips. Still this is a rare piece that would be worth the cost of restoration. Weighs apprx 5 lbs. Buyer pays S&H, visit my Ebay Store, Thanks!
