****Please check the amazing NO RESERVE auctions this week from one of my best consignors**** Fans of the great Mexican silversmith, ANTONIO PINEDA, this is your week to shop! In addition to a wonderful tie clip by the artist (on separate auction), we also have this pair of 970 Sterling Sterling TAXCO Cufflinks. Executed with a Modernist flair, they are thick and triangular with recessed reiterations of the angles on two of the surfaces, measuring about 1-1/8" x 3/8." The pair is in excellent condition, showing only minor wear. One is marked “970” [ie., 97% silver] and has the crown trademark [spelling out “Antonio” graphically with “Taxco” below]. The other is marked “Hecho en Mexico” and has the official Mexican sterling eagle mark used pre-1979. The total weight is 14.4 grams. Don't miss our other terrific auctions this week...This is a NO RESERVE offering.
