Album Album This is a vintage Danish Anton Michelsen sterling silver brooch or pin , for sale to the high bidder. Please see my eBay store and my other listings for more silver items. This is an unusual large mid-century modern sterling silver brooch featuring a striking cosmos design, with a planet, stars and meteors, and an old-fashioned clasp. It is marked "AM" under a crown for the firm of Anton Michelsen, which started in Copenhagen in 1893, and "Sterling Denmark". You can scroll down to see more photos. This desirable brooch measures 2 1/4" across and weighs .4 oz (12 gr) on my little scale. It is in very good condition, with normal signs of use and some tarnish. There are no dings, dents or bends, and the clasp is in good working order. The dark areas you see are reflections from my camera.
