Antique Webster sterling silver pin cushion thimble case hinged reticulated vgd! This lovely case could be meant for a child. It measures approx 1" across including the hinge, and about 1 inch tall. All reticulated except for domed lid and flat bottom. Marked Sterling with a Webster W + C + arrow stamp. Hinge shuts firmly.Inside is a small filled (straw?) rounded insert to hold pins. Should be covered with a red fabric but it is worn, as shown in the pictures. If the insert were removed, case could hold a small thimble. Insert fits snugly, but new fabric cover might be needed.This has a swirly monogram on top. I recognize one letter as a B.Please email with questions, thanks.
