Being offered for your consideration, with NO RESERVE , are these four (4), or two (2) pair of Antique Frank Whiting Silver company Sterling Silver Figural Corn on the Cob Holders.~ PLEASE NOTE ~ that the photographs included with this auction are of the actual object being sold. George K. Webster founded the silver company bearing his name in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, in 1869. The Webster Company specialized in the production of such products as dresser sets, picture frames, baby items, and novelties.These antique corn on the cob holders would fall in to the novelty category of items produced by the Webster Company. Each figural holder is marked STERLING and carries the George K Webster Company W hallmark. Measuring 3 inches in total length one end of each holder resembles an ear of half shucked corn; the detailing of the sterling silver is quite elaborate.
