This is a very nice and large 1L J.W. Remy German Beer Stein Mold #1028 depicting a table scene with a man playing a lute to a woman while a knight stands at the table with his hand on his heart. A very nice pottery relief stein of a courting scene. It measures 11" to the top of the lid finial.The stein is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or pewter damage. There is some tape residue on the edge of the bottom of the stein, as a previous owner appears to have placed masking tape around the edge to protect it. As this does not show while on display, no attempts have been made to remove the residue.This stein is in full color and valued in The Beer Stein Library's online website at $75-$100.Local pickup is welcome to save shipping cost, or I am happy to combine with other items won or purchased and pass along any shipping savings.
