SMALL MECHANISM TO PRESS DOWN RELEASES THE SPRING HINGE & IT SNAPS SHUT SECURELY. VERY NICE SHINY & FOR AGE NO SIGNS OF WEAR. INSIDE A MITE LESS THAN 2 1/2 ACROSS X 2 1/4 ACROSS APX. 7 " AROUND . I HAVE SMALL WRISTS SO IT IS LARGE FOR ME . I WEAR A 6" .. SO, THIS WILL GIVE YOU A SIZE IDEA .
