Antique Victorian Mourning Black Pansy Brooch with Pearl Pin Brooch 10KGold Lovely pansy pin with a tiny pearl in the center. I believe that the pansy is made of a black satin glass at least that is my best guess. It is very smooth and soft to the touch, but it is a heavy piece for its size. Set ever so fluidly in gold; this was tested to be 10K. The brooch has a "C" clasp with a ball hinge and dates to around the late 1800's. Measures about 1 1/8" in diameter. It is in very good antique condition. The pin stem is slightly bent but would still made a wonderful addition to your collection of mourning jewelry or just a lovely piece to wear.
