Antique Carved Oak Victorian Gothic Log Bin / Coal Scuttle Description A heavily carved Antique Victorian Gothic Revival coal scuttle in solid oak. In a Drake Jacobean finish with a lion mask carved into the front surrounded by leaves. The top is also carved as is the carry handle. It is complete with metal liner and a pair of black tongs. the shovel is not present. Construction/Wood: Solid Oak Condition Report: In solid condition. The base has been repaired (see photos) . It is rather worn on the edge of the lid and it is worn on the sides. It has holes on the sides at the bottom down near where the base is attached.
