THE HORSE BRASSES ARE VERY OLD AND ARE c1890 / c1900 WITH A BRIDLED HORSE STUD TO THE TOP & 4 FURTHER CLOVER STUDS IN ETWEEN EASH CAST BRASS... 2 ARE HEARTS WITHIN HEARTS, THEY OTHER 2 A PIERCED BRASS THE STRONG LEATHER STRAP HAS A LARGE CHUNKY BRASS RING TO THE TOP... AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO YOU CAN SEE THE THICKNESS OF THE LEATHER ON THIS STRAP & IT A VERY HEAVY ONE. THE BRASSES HAVE GENUINE WEAR & PATINATION AND HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANED BY ME AS THIS CAN TAKE MANY YEARS TO BUILD AND SOME PEOPLE PREFER TO SEE THEM LIKE THIS .. SOMEONE AT SOME TIME HAS CLEANED THESE AS THERE IS SOME RESIDUE TO THE BACKS ( NOT GUILTY HERE). OVERALL LENGTH OF THE STRAP MEASURES APROX 63CMS LONG X 9CMS WIDE EXCELLENT ADDITIONS TO COLLECTIONS AND FABULOUS TO DISPLAY & TO USE AND SHOW ON YOUR HARNESS.
