This is an AWESOME deal! This BEAUTIFUL Music Box Is made in Italy by The San Francisco Music Box Company. It is listed on the internet as an "Antique Old World Globe". This itemwas purchased for a fashion Photo Shoot, other than being photographed,the globe has been wrapped up in storage in an office for about a year.After Research I learned the Globe plays IL GIRO DEL MONDO, The Turn Of The World. I personally have not wound the music box up, When moving the globe around you can hear thetiny tunes and the components tickling around. I have good faith themusical components work and they certainly are all intact. Theglobe has AMAZING Art work and TONS of illustrations. Everybody in thestudio LOVED the globe when we first brought it in. The Globe withstand is approximately 9" Tall and 9" Wide. This Globe would be worth MORE if if was sold to a collector or specific buyer. Its a RARE find is is worth more. We are selling the globe for what we purchased it for as a buy it now price. ALSO,if you are interested in re-sale on this item, for value andauthentication, there are Makers Marks stickers on the bottom of thewooden globe stand: "MAPSA" "IR GIRO DEL MONDO" "SWISS MUSICAL MOVEMENT" ...and a LARGE beautiful Sticker that says "MADE IN ITALY
