Antique stove top oven. Once a common place home appliance that set on top of your wood burning heating or kitchen range. They were also useable on top of early gas cooking ranges. The thermometer works fine and although a bit rusty it would work just fine today. It's double walled to keep the heat in with glass in the door to check on your cooking. I included a couple of advertisement photos from vintage catalogs to show other brands and styles. It's similar in design to the Griswold Oven design.This one was made in Follansbee West Virginia by the Sheet Metal Specialty company. It measures 21" wide 14" deep and 18" high. Two movable racks. All original with no restoration or repairs hinges,handles and latch work well. A very cool/hot fully functional antique oven that will interest and amuse all.
