AMERICAN STERLING SILVER BOOKMARK, WILLIAM CULLEN BRYANT BUST This is an interesting antique American sterling silver bookmark featuring a finely detailed bust of the poet William Cullen Bryant (1794-1878). The bookmark is made by Rogers, Lunt & Bowlen of Greenfield, Mass., circa 1910. It is marked with the maker's logo on the back together with Sterling & 168. The front is inscribed BRYANT below the bust. It measures 2 7/8" long and condition is very good with no damage or repairs. T is a stylized GLR monogram on the front.
