ANTIQUE STERLING & 14K JEWELED 2 5/16" LONG HANGING/DANGLE EARRINGS. From my personal collection, bought many, many years ago at the Pier Show in New York City, back then I think I paid $125.00 for them, I thought they were so, so beautiful & feminine looking, well, they sat in my safe all these years and I never wore them, so now its time to sell. They measures 2 5/16" long and comprised of what looks like bezel set sapphire colored stones (each measures 10mm across) with little 3mm pearls on sterling chaining. I do not know if the stones are genuine or not, I assume they are faux. The stone are faceted and when the light passes thru them they are a beautiful ocean blue color. The backs have been professionally changed at a later date (screw-backs) and they test as 14K (guaranteed). This is the box they came in which is marked Stern Brothers New York (box is soiled) and somewhat coming apart. Earrings are in Excellent/Very Good condition. I see no damage to the stones or flaking on the pearls. Romantic, feminine earrings ...Circa 1910?
