Antique Dark Blue Staffordshire PlateHistorical Scene - City Hotel, New YorkThis is a beautiful antique dark blue Staffordshire Plate from the early 1800's. The plate is decorated with an Historical Scene of the "City Hotel" in New York. The border has a garland of acorn/oak leaves. The plate is a very dark blue and measures approx. 8 3/4" wide. I believe the plate was made by Ralph Stevenson and Williams - the back is marked "RSW".Condition: The plate is in very good used condition. There are no cracks. There is a small chip on the edge - please see picture #2 - there is some minor roughness on the edge.
