Old silver three masted ship button, similar to buttons seen in the book A Collector's Guide to Peasant Silver Buttons by Jane Pery, page 27. The indented darker spot on the left side corresponds with a stamp on the reverse side with the letters xxxv. Measuring a little over 7/8" across in very good condition, minor bit of age wear.Note: pic GREATLY enlarged for detail.Thanks for looking - and be sure to see my other auctions for more interesting old buttons!
