Vintage sterling silver pendant with scrimshaw carved stone of a turtle. Pendant is 1 1/2 inches long & the scrimshaw piece is 1 inch wide. On the reverse at the bottom is stamped connected cursive initials mb, underneath the initials is stamped STERLING. This piece is very finely carved such that an optical illusion occurs; the turtles back appears to have a ridge from head to tail in the stone, but the stone is smooth.
