This is an Antique Oscar Schmidt Zither. It is all wood, but I don't know what kind. It has two markings on the outside, one of a book with two horns and an instrument and the other says, "Tune all bass strings one octave lower than indicated by notes." It has the original decal inside the circle that says Oscar Schmidt and his address. It has the original case and all its strings and is in great condition. It is from the 1920's. It measures 13 X 18 1/2. I don't know much about it, other than my observations. It came from my grandfather's estate. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them as best I can. Thanks.
