Lined with purple velvet, two compartments for paper, letter and envelopes, two spots for inkwells and a lidded compartment for pens. Measures 11.5” long, 8” deep, 4” tall. Beveled edges on top of case.Numerous scratches commensurate with age, no dings, hinges are solid and sturdy. Locking mechanism but no key. Unusual addition for a collection.
