Patented in January, 1899, this antique Union Stoneware fruit jar was made in Red Wing, MN. Measuring 6.25" tall and 4.5" wide, it is complete, right down to the porcelain insert in the lid. There are fingerprints at the base from the maker and two small patched flakes away from the imprint on the left side. The cap works very nicely. Likely used as intended, there appears to be some wax left on the lid. The photos tell the story so please enjoy them all. NO RESERVE!
