Offered for your consideration is this, what I believe to be, Railroad watering can. That's a total guess and if I'm wrong, I'm asking all of you of good will to correct me. Even a long time antique auctioneer was perplexed and didn't know.It's got a patent, and the pics tell the story of how it works. Whatever you poured into it was first screened, then poured through narrow long opening with 2 wing nuts on each side of spout that seem to do absolutely nothing?????Got me guys. Really solid piece, no holes or thinning of thick tin material.It's a big one, measures 18 high X 22 long from handle to end of spout, 7 inches at widest point.Cool item, if you know what it is, even better!Posted with eBay Mobile
